The Right To Grow

Sometimes it is hard to let friends go - go in directions that may move away from us, from our shared interests or activities. Who will we call when we want to go out on the town for the night, when our best pal has decided to stay in and focus on her new studies? Or what happens when your best friend finds a new love and does not seem to have as much time for you as she used to? It is hard to let go of the old ways and make room for what the future might bring. Their might be room for more instead of less. There might be new adventures and discoveries, but it is the unknown. And the Unknown can be scary.
